A decade and half ago, when Sridevi was the undisputed Queen Bee of Bollywood, she was facing tough competition and intense rivalry from the rising star Madhuri Dixit. For a while, both were in neck-to-neck competition.
Madhuri won and soon Sridevi retired from the film industry by getting married to film producer Boney Kapoor.
A few years passed and Madhuri's career too began to decline. She got married to a US-based doctor. After having two babies, she was giving a serious thought about getting back into films.
A year ago, the slim and very glamorous looking Sridevi made her appearance in the film awards circuit. Recently, she also performed for a stage show. She says that she enjoyed the experience so much that she looks forward to participating more often in such programs in future too. At around the same time, Madhuri announced a comeback with the film 'Naach Baliyae'.
Though Sridevi hasn't announced a comeback film, many believe that it is just a matter of time before that happens.
