Amidst lot of fanfare and publicity, director Lawrence Raghavendra and Nagarjuna picked Mamta Mohandas up to be the heroine of their new film 'Don'.
Photo shoots looked very good. They had even shot some scenes together. Suddenly, news has surfaced that she is not acting in the film anymore.
According to the latest information, Anoushka, who had starred with Nagarjuna in the bike-film 'Super', is going to be his new heroine in 'Don'. The reason behind Mamta's removal seems very perplexing- she wasn't able to emote well enough. Mamta is a Malayali actress who had made her debut in a film that was made by a very reputed director.
It's hard to believe that an actress with such credentials is being removed from a film because she couldn't act.
She was first signed up to be Siddharth's heroine in the new film 'Ata'. A few days before the shooting began, she was removed. Ileana stepped in as the replacement.
She now has only 'Yamadonga' with NTR as the hero.
