Director Joshi's Dileep starrer, 'Lion' is now going to be remade in Tamil.
About a year ago, Telugu star Dr Rajashekar had bought the remake rights of the film. He was desperately in need of a hit after a series of massive flops. Thankfully the film turned out to be the hit that he was looking for. Samvritha Sunil made her debut in Telugu with the film.
Samvritha has now returned to Malayalam.
Meanwhile, Sharat Kumar has expressed desire to work in the Tamil remake of the film. The actor will soon begin working in 'Pazhassiraaja'. It has been a while since he has had a convincing hit in Tamil.
Dileep is all set to work with Joshi yet again in one of his new films. Incidentally, 'Lion' is the last big hit from him.
