Most probably his next release will be 'Vaitheeswaran' after which he may act in a re-make film. He has already acted in 'Tenkasi Pattinam,' a re-make of a Malayalam film.He is now to act in another Malayalam film re-make.
Recently, Malayalam film 'Lion' starring Dileep has received moderate success. It is action oriented and Sarath happened to see the film and liked it as the story is quite suitable for the Tamil culture. Without hesitation Sarath agreed to act in it.
Rameshbabu of Kanakaratna Movies that produced 'Pokkiri' is producing this film. Suresh will direct the film. He has given hits in 'Arasu Darbar' and 'Gambeeram' starring Sarath Kumar. 'Sabari' that is running currently has also been directed by him.
They very much want to retain the original title of 'Lion' for the Tamil re-make also, but the film will not get tax exemption. It has temporarily been titled 'Singamdaa.' If a better title comes up, this could be changed!
