Madhuri Dixit is now getting ready to make an impressive comeback with the new film 'Naach Baliyae'. In the film, she plays the role of a dance teacher and the mother of an eight-year-old. Akshay Khanna and Konkona Sen too are playing important roles.
How did her husband feel when she announced her decision to make a comeback?
She says, "My husband Shriram Nene really is Shri Ram. When I told him that I wanted to start my career again, he said that I really should do things that give me pleasure. He didn't want me to waste my talent in pursuit of domestic chores. My husband is like a child. I'm really lucky to have a husband like him. He understands me and treats everybody with respect."
How old are your kids now?
The elder son Arin is three years old and the younger one Reyan is about a year old. They are fast growing up and this also happens to be the time when they really need my presence. Producers who approached me were ready to shoot the entire film in the US but they weren't able to find such a story.
