He is a director who is notorious for the fights that he has with his heroines. She is a heroine who is known for her tact and diplomacy. When the two worked together for their new film, it therefore is only very natural that she gets very impressed by the director.
The director in question is Thangar Bachchan. The heroine is Sneha. She had recently completed working in his new film named 'Pallikoodam'. Naren was her hero. This is one of those films that are made solely with awards in mind.
Though Sneha claims that she was never that particular about awards, she was more than eager to work in this film.
She says that she had learnt a lot from the director. "He had completely redefined my ideas about acting. He taught me subtle performance," she says.
Navya Nair however has a more reserved comment about the director/cinematographer. She found herself on the receiving end of lot of bad publicity when he accused her of throwing star-tantrums on the sets of his film.
