Shankar's S Pictures is to produce 'Kalloori' that will be directed by Balaji Sakthivel of 'Kaadhal' fame.
One does need a break between films but Balaji Sakthivel has had a long break. Because of 'Imsai Arasan?' and 'Veyil' produced by S Pictures, Balaji Sakthivel's film got postponed.
Another reason was Shakar's involvement with 'Sivaji.' From story discussion to direction, Balaji Sakthivel has been a close assistant to Shankar.
Now 'Sivaji' is complete and Balaji Sakthivel is busy with his new film. Even during story discussion it was decided that Tamanna would be the heroine. The hero is a newcomer, as college student from Dindugal.
An announcement is due soon about music, cameraman, and other technicians. Since the story revolves around college, the film has been titled 'Kalloori.'
