Kamal Hassan has filed a case in court that attempt is being made to sully his reputation.

An assistant director called Senthil Kumar filed a case in Chennai High Court that 'Dasavataram' story was his. He also filed a police complaint against Kamal.
The police accepted Kamal's explanations. The court sent notice to Kamal as well as producer Oscar Ravichandran to file their counter petition.
Kamal filed his petition accordingly. He specified that Senthil Kumar had an ulterior motive in accusing him. He has been in the film field for 40 years, has won the Kalaimamani from Tamilnadu Govt and the Padma Shri from the Indian govt. The story of 'Dasavataram' was his own creation and Senthil Kumar was out to demean his name and reputation by filing such a case against him in court.
On his part, Oscar Ravichandran also filed a petition. The case came up for hearing day before yesterday. It has now been postponed to 2nd.
In his petition, Kamal also mentioned that many English and Indian/Tamil films already featured actors in 10 roles, so to claim that he had created such a story line is false.
As of now, it seems like Kamal is in a strong position. So, the verdict may well go in his favor.
