For a very long time, there was lot of dilly-dallying in the Telugu cine industry regarding the heroine of the Telugu version of'Munnabhai 2'.
Prabhudeva is the director and Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role in the sequel too. Trouble began with the heroine.
Everybody wanted Vidhya Balan to star in the film, but she was wary of accepting the offer because she has had some bad experiences in south Indian films before. So, she made it very clear that she wanted to concentrate on Bollywood assignments. The media and fans alike were curious to have Nayantara as Chiranjeevi's heroine. There were also rumors that Nagarjuna, another leading hero in Telugu, was recommending her.
But the film's director, Prabhudeva was very particular about bringing Vidhya Balan in as the heroine. The hero too didn't mind.
Though no confirmed news is available yet, Vidhya Balan finally seems to have made her mind up about accepting the offer for an astronomical fee.
So, where does revenge come in?
Well, when Vidhya was taking her own time to make her mind up about starring in the film, one of the actresses who were being considered for the role had remarked that the former was looking very matured to look at and didn't even have a good figure!
