There is something strange about leading actresses who withdraw abruptly after marrying leading actors. They invariably end up designing clothes for their husbands.
Maybe this has got something to do with acutely missing the adrenaline rush that they get on the sets of the films. Almost all the actresses who had got married to actors have, at some point or the other, designed clothes for their husbands.
Sarika did it when she was married to Kamalhasan. Once in a while, Amala intervenes for Nagarjuna. Most recently, Shalini has started to design clothes for her husband, Ajith. As soon as Namratha Shirodkar finds time to spare, she too might start to design clothes for her husband Mahesh Babu.
Now, the former No 1 of Telugu and Tamil, Jyothika too has joined the list. Of course, she is not getting paid for it.
Though she has stopped working in films, she isn't quite ready to lose the popularity that she had earned. She has announced that she'll continue to star in ad films. Serious attempts are now on to convince her to act in TV serials too.
Will that happen too?
