Shaam has pinned his hopes on 2 films. One is Adhiyaman's 'Thoondil' and the other is 'Thooral.'
The former is almost complete; the latter is to start soon. The title of 'Thooral' has already been changed to 'Sivam.' Shaam plays an auto driver in the film, in a very local character. He has even grown a beard for that. (This will indeed be a different role for Shaam!)
The actress, who was originally signed on to pair with Shaam, has been removed and replaced with Sneha. Sneha has earlier acted with Shaam in 'Aei Nee Romba Azhaga Irukkey' and 'ABCD.' There was gossip that Shaam bit Sneha's lip in 'Aei Nee Romba Azhaga Irukkey' and this rumour was later squashed. 'Sivam' will be the third film in which they team up together.
After hearing the story of 'Pallikoodam' Sneha has said OK to the director, but it is said that where 'Sivam' is concerned, Sneha said OK as soon as she heard Shaam was the hero. The two are supposed to be good friends.
