After waiting all these years for a miracle to happen in her film career, Nithya Das has finally decided that it is better to accept what is offered to her. She has decided to star in a teleserial now.
Nithya Das had acted in a film or two in Tamil but for many reasons, the film never quite made their way to the theatres. She too waited for a very long time and rejected a number of offers that she received in Malayalam. These days, film offers have almost completely stopped and she is therefore shifting her attention to TV.
Mohanlal's blockbuster hit, 'Shri Krishnaparunnu', is going to be made into a serial for TV broadcast. Nithya Das is going to play the female lead in the film.
Search is still on for an actor to play Mohanlal's role in the serial. MA Naseer is directing this serial. He says that he is also considering actors from other languages who could suit the role.
The serial's second shoot begins in April.
