Gayathri Jayaram is all getting married to a Chennai-based hotelier. This one is a love marriage.
Gayathri Jayaram was a well known model before she made her debut in Tamil. When she completely ran out of offers in Tamil and Telugu, she shifted her attention to Malayalam. She had acted as Jayaram's heroine in 'Salperu Ramankutty'.
Along with her newfound interest in Malayalam, Gayathri also learnt the art of deep-sea diving and scuba diving. She sometimes worked as a scuba diving instructor on the beaches of Andaman Islands. That was when she fell in love with resort Samit, who owns a chain of resorts in Andaman. He is from Chennai and holds a degree in Chartered Accountancy from London.
The wedding is going to take place on the 13th of next month at Andaman. The couple will hold a lavish wedding reception in Chennai on the 20th.
Her parents are now busy making preparations for the wedding reception. The wedding however is going to be a low-profile one with only close family members as guests.
