Aishwarya Rai has announced that she has no intention of quitting films after her marriage to Abhishek Bachchan. She still is busy going about accepting film offers with other heroes too. It also seems as if she isn't going to end her rivalry with the current Bollywood No 1, Rani Mukherjee.
Rani Mukherjee, according to Bollywood observers, has the kind of appeal that makes even the flop films become big hits. Just about everybody is more than eager to work with her and her audience appeal is phenomenal. Aishwarya however isn't in a position to stake such a claim.
It all began with 'Bunty Aur Babli', the film that starred Rani Mukherjee and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. The film didn't have a spectacular story or a brilliant screenplay. But it turned out to be a hit at the box office. While others say that it had something to do with Rani's popularity, Aish has started to claim that it was her item number 'Kajraa re' that made the film such a huge hit.
That has left Rani pretty irritated.
For the time being however, Rani is way ahead of Aish in terms of the number of hits and the paycheque.
