After 'Vaaranam Aayiram,' Surya is to act in Hari's film 'Vel.' There is confusion about who would be Surya's leading lady in the film.
First, it was announced that it would be Asin. Then they said she is busy in 'Dasavataram' and Hindi 'Ghajini' so she is not available. Then rumour had it that Jyotika is against Surya pairing up with Asin, so she was definitely out as the heroine.
Then various heroines like Trisha, Nayantara and Shriya were considered. To find out what all the confusion is about, we asked director Hari himself about it.
"After completing 'Vaaranam aayiram,' we plan to start work on 'Vel.' The script is ready. But as announced earlier, Asin will be Surya's heroine. There is no change in that at all."
That could be till now. This could change tomorrow, is it not? Till actual shooting starts, there will be confusion about who will pair with Surya in 'Vel'!
