The Reliance Company has now ventured into film production. They have co-produced many Hindi films including Ram Gopal Varma's 'Nishabdh.'
In Tamil, they are co-producing 'Kireetam' starring Ajith.
Adlabs has decided to make a series of Hindi films starring Hritik Roshan. Hritik is supposed to have received 35 crores as fee for this and this news made hot news in Bollywood a few months back.
Adlabs is also interested in making Tamil films and is to make a Tamil and Hindi film featuring Madhavan. It is said that Kareena Kapoor will pair with Madhavan in the Hindi version.
On one hand, the stepping in of Adlabs would be a healthy trend in the production aspect. On the other hand there is the fear that the high fee paid by them to stars and technicians could put small producers out of business.
Would Adlabs entering film production bring positive or negative results? We will know soon enough.
