The little girl of 'Azagi' is now old enough to play the female lead roles. She is now ready to star in Malayalam as heroine.
'Azagi' was the Tamil film starring Nandita Das, Parthiban and Devayani in the lead roles. In the film, Monica had played the younger Nandita Das in the flashback scenes. Monica had already acted in films like 'Phantom Paili' and 'Theertadanam'. She had also acted as a child artiste in Suhasini's 'Indra'.
In 'Chilandi', she plays the role of Ganga.
