Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were out of the media limelight for a while, but now they're back and they have loads of controversies to make up for the lost time.
The two literally vanished from the media radar when they took off to an undisclosed destination for their honeymoon. Their first post-honeymoon appearance was at the Cannes film festival. The couple looked very happy with each other, but nobody else was feeling good for them.
For one, Manirathnam was annoyed that the two didn't turn up for the screening of his 'Guru' at Cannes.
She was also very conspicuous by her absence at the promos of her 'Jodha Akbar'.
The film fraternity would have forgiven the actress (afterall, it is her honeymoon and you can't expect someone to be working all along) but what irked them the most was the fact that the actress and her in-laws were willing to postpone the honeymoon for completing her L'Oreal assignments.
Aishwarya and Abhishek have now returned to Mumbai. They were received by Abhishek's mother at the airport.
Aish will begin working in 'Jodha Akbar' and Abhishek will start his new film with Rani Mukherjee (who also was rumored to be his ex-girlfriend).
