There is still debate over whether Surya will complete 'Vaaranam Ayiram' first and then do 'Vel' or vice versa. The tussle that has been going on for a week could be solved today.
There was a rumour that Surya wanted to opt out of 'Vaaranam Ayiram.' On being asked about it, Surya said, "I will never opt out of 'Vaaranam Ayiram.' From the costumes to the location, Gautham and I discussed everything. After 'Kaaka Kaaka,' there has been great respect for our collaboration. This film will cement that respect. Most actors get such a lovely script only at the end of their careers. I have received such a script now. 'Vaaranam Ayiram' is my dream film. I will never opt out of it."
What about Hari's 'Vel'?
