The famous vodka firm has introduced a new variety in Bangalore. This was launched by famed singer/actress Vasundhara Das.
In Noida, Romanov launched its new brand by actress Shilpa Shetty. The brands felt launch by a famous pretty face would add extra mileage. Liquor is not for the young and if it is launched by a pretty woman, it would draw youngsters towards it, accuse social workers.
Vasundara Das has torn them to pieces. "I have launched an item approved by the govt, so there is nothing wrong with it by law. To look at a person and blindly emulate is foolish. It is ridiculous to say that lots of people will drink just because an actress launches a liquor brand."
Who is correct? Social activists or Vasundara Das?
Since it is a liquor problem, it is a bit of a staggering issue!
