Almost every other day, new controversies are surfacing about the film that Navya Nair did with Cheran, 'Maayakanandi'.
During the making of the film, the producer (Cheran himself) ran into an acute financial crisis. In order to make life easier for him and due to the confidence that she had on the film and her role, Navya came forward to help the director/producer/hero. She took a massive cut in her salary and she also gave him some money.
The film got released and it bombed.
Theater owners are now demanding refund and Cheran has agreed to pay them back. But nobody seems to be saying anything about Navya.
If that was not bad enough, she is not that happy about his decision to star with Gopika in his new film, the sequel to 'Autograph'.
