Mohanlal is getting ready to score another big hit with 'Ali Bhai', his new film.
Shaji Kailash had initially launched 'Ali Bhai' with Mohanlal. This was before he started to make 'Baba Kalyani'. The project was postponed because its script was not ready. Now that script is ready and everybody is happy with the way it has turned out, shooting is going on in a smooth pace.
While Mammooty has got himself in some callsheet confusions, everything is going according to schedule for Mohanlal. Shaji Kailash had constructed a huge market set for the film. Mohanlal plays the role of Ali Bhai, the trade union leader of market employees.
This time around, he has two heroines- Gopika and Navya Nair. The film marks Navya's return to Malayalam after a long break and the recent 'Maayakannadi' disaster.
The film is going to hit the theatres on Onam this year.
