Artificial sea in 2 acres - 'Dasavatharam' exclusive

Art Director Thota Dharani has been working ceaselessly since last month.

In a few days he should finish his work on the artificial sea.

'Dasavatharam' is being made on a grand scale. A story that spans centuries, 10 different get ups, C.I.A agent, shooting at different locations all round the globe, helicopter fight..... the movie has a lot of wonders to offer. The highlight is the tsunami shots.

There are scenes showing the sea engulfing the villages along the shore. They are creating an artificial sea set for this. This feat has been done only in Hollywood movies so far for 'Water World', 'Titanic' etc..

This is being done for the first time in India by Thota Dharani. This is being done in the Chennai Rayapuram beach area in around 2 acres. The seaside houses have also been set up.

The Hollywood technicians who worked in 'Titanic' have arrived in Chennai to work on the Tsunami scenes. It was originally thought that 'Dasavatharam' would be released in August. The filming will be over in July and since they require around 4 months for the post production work, we can expect the release of the film for Deepavali.
