When Muktha made her debut in the Tamil film 'Thamirabharani', the entire Tamil film industry was more than happy to celebrate her as the next No 1 heroine in Kollywood. There were talks of lots of offers.
But, after so many days, it looks as if nothing much had materialized.
So, Bhanu (as she was known in Tamil) has now decided to return to Malayalam as Muktha.
When Lal Jose was looking for an actress to convincingly portray the teen-aged victim of sex racket for his 'Achchan Urangaatha Veedu', he came across Muktha. She was then a Class VIII student. Two years have passed and Muktha says that nobody's ready to believe that she's only fifteen!
Well, age debates apart, 'Kangaroo' is the name of the film and she is going to be the heroine. The film stars Prithviraj and Jayasurya in the lead roles. Rajbabu is the director. The film is about a young man who ends up with the responsibility of protecting a child
