Vijay is now starring in Swargachitra Appachan's 'Azagiya Tamiz Magan' (work on the film has come to a grinding halt after the court intervened).
For a very long time, Appachan wanted to make a film with Vijay. He had to wait for close to two years before the film could materialize. There were lots of problems ever since the plans began.
Vijay says, "'Azagiya Tamiz Magan' isn't my first film with Swargachitra Appachan. We had worked together previously in 'Friends'. He is a very simple and down to earth person. He believes in making minimum fuss about anything. We used to talk about working together in another film even before completing 'Friends'. But it took a long time to happen."
What was the most recent film that you enjoyed in Malayalam?
'Rajamanikkam'.
How is your relationship with other heroes?
Unlike previous generation actors, the new generation heroes don't treat each other as enemies. We are in fact very close and friendly.
