Prashanth?s claim that his wife Grihalakshmi was already married reached a twist with the actor distributing copies of her marriage certificate to the media. If this proves to be true there is a possibility that Grihalakshmi could attract penal action for cheating.
According to Prashanth, Grihalakshmi and Narayanan Venuprasad registered their marriage at the registrar office in Chennai and later had a proper traditional wedding ceremony at the VM Kalyana Mandapam in Alwarpet, Chennai.
Reliable sources say that on verification of both the certificates ? one submitted by Prashanth and the other at the registrar office ? there is an indication that the marriage as alleged by the actor could indeed have taken place.
However, everything would be clear only when the mysterious man Narayanan Venuprasad is brought to the fore. Apart from that, the police are also on the look out for the three witnesses and an advocate who were present during the wedding.
Amidst all this, Grihalakshmi has strongly denied all the allegations against her and said she would initiate criminal action against Prashanth for creating false documents.
The VM Kalyana Mandapam, where the alleged wedding ceremony took place, is now converted into a godown. Investigations are on as to verify if a wedding hall existed there.
