Until now, shrikanth/Shriram had been denying that he had got married to Vandana. But, after the police clarified that they can't intervene in this trouble because it is a civil case, he is now seriously planning to file for a divorce.
Ever since that happened, rumors are on that Vandana Reddy, the Chennai-based model who claims that she is the wife of the actor, had attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills.
But she denied those stories and clarified that she is very much alive and intelligent enough to not attempt any such stunts. "Why would I attempt suicide? I'll never do such a thing," she said.
Shrikanth/Shriram and his family still continue to live away from their apartment in Vadapalani, Chennai. Vandana is now the sole occupants of the house. She and Shrikanth/Shriram were supposed to turn up for counseling on ways to resolve the situation.
