There seems to be a huge and strange conspiracy to bring Rajinikanth into Andhra politics, if rumors are to be believed.
Everybody had been eagerly waiting for Chiranjeevi to announce his political entry, but the Megastar has stayed as away as possible from politics. Similar is the case with Rajinikanth. For more than ten years now, politicians and his fans alike had been pestering him to get into politics but he wasn't interested at all.
Now 'Shivaji' has put him in an embarrassing position for very different reasons. Rajini had always been open about his friendship with Chandrababu Naidu. He had screened his 'Shivaji' especially for him in AP. Since then Chandrababu Naidu had been indirectly hinting that Rajini just might enter politics very soon.
When Chandrababu's son got engaged to be married to NBK's daughter, Rajini was one of the selected guests who were invited for the ceremony. The Tamil superstar didn't attend the function. But he spoke to the couple over the phone and congratulated them.
Though it is still early days, Tamil media is full of reports of this strategy. The problem is- they are projecting Rajini as Megastar Chiranjeevi's rival. Fact is- Rajini and Chiru had been good buddies from the day they entered the Film Institute to learn acting. There is no way they're going to destroy their friendship over baseless rumors.
