Prithviraj was in for a big shock recently when his new Tamil film, 'Saththam Podathey', with Padhmapriya, couldn't find a distributor.
According to some media sources, Prithviraj's new film 'Saththam Podathey' with Padhmapriya is now ready for release, but it has run into problems because nobody is ready to come forward and buy the film.
His previous film in Tamil, 'Mozhi' was a huge blockbuster. So, everybody thought that distributors would be more than willing to buy the new film. But distributors claims that the film did well only due to Prakashraj and Jyothika and that Prithviraj had nothing to do with the box office success. They also claim that as a solo-hero, his appeal in Tamil is very limited.
But Prithviraj loyalists believe that it is a ploy on the part of the distributors to reduce the prices.
The film's music was released at a lavish star-studded party in Chennai recently.
