For some strange reason, it has always been a dream for actresses to play the role of commercial sex workers. From time immemorial, such roles always had generated lot of controversy and picks up an award or two for the actresses.
It is now the turn of Bollywood's current No 1, Rani Mukherjee, to play the coveted role. Unlike other actresses, she is playing the role in two films that are going to be released almost simultaneously!!!
One is Yashraj's 'Lagey Chunaree Mein Daag'. This one is the story about a middle-class girl who end sup becoming a commercial sex worker. The other one is 'Saawariyaa' from director Sanjay Leela Bansali.
Meanwhile, Rani Mukherjee has rubbished the rumors that she had got engaged to be married to Aditya Chopra, the director. She says that no such thing took place.
