"Tamil journalists are very bad"- Navya Nair

Nayva Nair has decided to return to Malayalam, atleast for a while. She is now Mohanlal's heroine in 'Alibhai'. As soon as she found a foothold in Malayalam, the actress decided to pour her woes out against the mediapersons in Tamil.



"I was in class X when I got an offer to star with Dileep. I used to be a huge fan of Dileep when I was in school. So, I was more than ready to work in the film. 'Ishtam' was the first film.


"In school, I was a very popular kid. There always used to be a huge crowd around me. I used to be an expert at mimicking my teachers. My friends used to enjoy spending time with me.


"There is a huge difference between Malayalam and Tamil films. In a Malayalam hit film, you don't necessarily have an item number. But things are different in Tamil. They insist on having such songs even in films that don't need it.


"It is very dangerous to talk to mediapersons in Tamil. They'd ask a very innocent question to you, like who's your favorite actor or director. The moment you name someone, you'll be in trouble because soon you'll hear gossips about you and the director/actor," she reveals.
