This is the latest update on Vaaranam Aayiram. Surya's fans have been wondering whatever happened to his another project Vaaranam Aayiram as news seems to be flooding in only from the Vel camp. When a Behindwoods correspondent called in Gautham Menon to enquire about the progress of Vaaranam Aayiram,
the director said that all plans have been neatly laid down well in advance and the team is working towards it. Planning Vaaranam Aayiram for the next year's Tamil New year's day release, he said that the shooting will resume very soon. Having shot a few scenes in Adyar and its surrounding areas in Chennai there are plans to film the remaining movie in foreign countries such as the USA and Afghanistan apart from Delhi and Dehradun, he added. The team plans to head for a 25-day stint in San Francisco, United States, soon. Further, a 10-day schedule in Afghanistan, Delhi and Dehradun, respectively has also been planned.
