    Shivaji in political trouble

This time around, it looks as if detractors have found a very strong reason to trouble 'Shivaji' with.

In his over-enthusiasm to make the story and the characters sound as authentic as possible, Shankar had morphed photographs of the villain, Suman, standing with Congress Supreme Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The pictures appear in the backdrop of some of the scenes featuring the villain.

Though not directly said, there are lots of scenes in which it is made to look as if the villain belongs to the Congress party. The fact that he always dresses in white only adds to this likelihood.

This didn't go well with the real-life Congress politicians. One of them has now filed a case against 'Shivaji's producer, director and hero, seeking damages to the tune of Rs 50 Crores for making such indirect implications. Of all the allegations that were thrown against the film from time to time, this one looks a bit too serious to be taken lightly.

The case will soon come for a hearing.
