"I don't mind wearing swimsuit"- Shreya

There is something ironic about our actresses- they wouldn't mind getting intimate with the heroes on the screen, but ask them to wear swimsuits and they'll start making such a huge fuss. This has been the trend for as long as film industry began in India (we are slightly exaggerating there)!



Whenever an actress decides to appear in swimsuits, it becomes headline-news.


Shreya is a veteran at glamour with about 17 films in Telugu and 4 in Tamil.


"Though I have acted in more than 2o films, it is 'Shivaji' with Tamil superstar Rajinikanth that has made me popular all over south India. I'm an actress now but I had always been a model first. So, frankly I don't know how to draw a line between acting and glamour.


"I don't feel bad about wearing swimsuit in films, but it needs good co-artistes and a unit that understands the difference between real life and acting. Fact is, these days, popularity for actresses depends a lot on their looks and glamour. Even otherwise, I don't have any problem with doing glamorous roles, especially if it suits the story," she says.


She is now going to be Ajith's heroine in a new Tamil film. There are no new offers from Telugu yet.
