When 'Sivaji' patchwork was being done, Rajini came to know that 'Dasavataram' shooting was going on nearby and dropped in on Kamal. He was astounded at Kamal's appearance in various get-ups and praised him sincerely.
Kamal participated in the 804th day celebrations of 'Chandramukhi' and wished Rajini well. The two of them met again yesterday.
A grand set like the White House has been put up in Chennai Film Society. Shooting was done on the sets for the first time yesterday. As early as 3am, 3 makeup artists proceeded to make Kamal look like American President George Bush. By 9am, Kamal was looking totally different and KS Ravi Kumar shot scenes of Kamal on the White House sets.
Having heard about this, Rajini went at around 11am to the sets. He embraced Kamal and wished him well. They spoke in privacy for about 30 minutes.
Another VIP, who came to check out the sets was David Hooper, the American Consul General. He had also participated in the symposium on Indian cinema.
