Trisha?s fan club is actively involved in many social welfare activities like blood donation camps, donation of books and food packets to poor people etc. Generally they combine such activities coinciding with her birthdays or during the release of her new film.
Now that Trisha?s next film Kreedom with Ajith is ready to hit the screens tomorrow, her fans have decided on a novel protest campaign against tobacco products. They will be sticking posters all over Chennai depicting the dangers of cigarette, beedi and also spread the awareness of the disease cancer. On behalf of Trisha?s fan club, Mrs. Uma Krishnan, Trisha?s mother donated a cheque for Rs 25,000/- to Cancer Institute, Chennai.
