'Mm' being dropped? ? Srikanth in the soup

Srikanth is facing bad times. Because of his marital problems, Sriukanth's film career seems to be in a mess.



Because of a string of flops, Srikanth was depending heavily on Sasi's 'Mm.' He grew moustache and beard for the film in order to change his chocolate boy image.


But a cyclone in the form of Vandana played havoc in his life. Because of his registered marriage, Srikanth is unable to stay in his own home. In all this marriage mess, producer Geeta is also in a bad situation. In a dilemma as to whether to continue the project amidst all these issues, Geeta finally opted out of producing the film.


Distributors also backed out since they are not sure if Srikanth's change from clean image would go down well with viewers.


Director Sasi spent 2 years fine tuning the script and he has lost his patience. Not willing to spend more time waiting for 'Mm' to take off, Sasi has started to get busy on his next project, which could most probably be a heroine oriented project.


Now that 'mm' has been shelved and there are new offers, Srikanth's film career has come to a standstill.
