Seven years have passed since former Ms Universe Sushmita Sen made the bold and revolutionary decision to adopt an orphan baby girl. There were many gossips at that time. Some said that it was a mere publicity stunt. Others had uglier rumors in their minds.

But they all have stopped now.
"I'm so impressed by my daughter's intelligence and spontaneity. I'm proud of it. She has now become my universe. I mean the world to her. By God's grace, I might have the opportunity to adopt more kids and raise them too. Right now I'm busy gathering resources to provide for my daughter," she says.
What about marriage plans?
Frankly, for the time being, I'm not thinking about marriage. I have had some relationships in the past, but none of them had come close enough to get married. Marriage is a big responsibility and you need a strong motivation to make that kind of commitment with someone. I still haven't come across anyone who has inspired me thus.
Sushmita Sen is playing Hema Malini's role in Ramgopal Varma's remake of 'Sholay'. Mohanlal too had appeared in a very crucial role in the film.
