At the age of fourteen, when everybody else was busy with their Class IX studies and preparing for their first Board Exam the following year, Muktha got into films. For a long time, she attempted to do two things at the same time- act in films and also study at the same time.
This year, she was planning to appear for her Class X exams as a private candidate. But it now looks as if she has decided to give up her studies.
She was happy with the way her career was going in Malayalam, but decided to simply accept an offer in Tamil. That was how 'Thamarabharani' happened. The film became a big hit and she began to get plenty of offers. She decided to refuse them all and return to Malayalam because she had her class X exams this year. 'Nasrani' is the only film that she is working in, right now. Mammooty is the hero.
Though she understands the importance of studies, she isn't that happy with the fact that she had to refuse so many offers.
So she has decided that she isn't going to study after her class X.
"I'm going to concentrate only on films after I write the exams," she says.
