When the audience saw 'Heartbeats', they were seriously wondering about two things- what exactly is the confusion in the film all about and how did Simran agree to play the role of an AIDS victim who dies in the end?
But now we have the answer to the question- she didn't know!!!
Simran says that she came to know about it only when her friends who had seen the film called her up and asked her why she accepted the role of an HIV patient.
"I was only told that mine is going to be the role of a mysterious woman whom the doctor falls in love with. Nobody told me that the woman has HIV, according to the story," she says. Vinu Anand made his debut as a director with this film.
"The script was very different from the one that was narrated to me. I agreed to star in the film because the story was very good."
She says that she had stopped working in the film when she realized that the director was shooting something that was not in the script. "I'm going to talk to my lawyers and file a case against the producer and director for bringing disrepute to my name," she says.
