The marriage plans of Malayalam actress Ananya, recently engaged to Anjaneyan, a businessman from Thrissur, appears to have hit a roadblock. A source says Ananya's father approached the Perumbavoor Police alleging that Anjaneyan hid his previous marriage from them.
Police interrogated Anjaneyan when he came to visit Ananya and confirmed that Anjaneyan had married a girl from Kozhikode in 2008. The couple had filed a mutual divorce petition which is pending with the court.
Ananya got engaged to Anjaneyan on February 3, 2012 at her house at Perumbavoor near Ernakulam.
Ananya made her debut in 2008 in the Malayalam film Positive. She was noted for her film Shikkar alongside superstar Mohanlal. She was also seen in a supporting role in the 2010 Malayalam war film Kandahar, with Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachchan.
