More than 15 years ago, an intense rivalry was on between Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.
Sridevi was then the leading heroine of Bollywood. Madhuri Dixit was the main contender for the throne. Eventually, Sridevi lost the position to Madhuri. She then got married and quit the industry. After her time as the No 1 actress, Madhuri too quit the industry, got married to a US-based doctor, and, after two kids, is now making a comeback.

The two former No 1's are now getting ready to clash all over again. Madhuri is making a fabulous comeback as a dance teacher and mother of an eight-year-old girl in a new film 'Aaja Naach Ley'. Sridevi and her husband are now looking for a script to mark her comeback.
Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor is a film producer who specializes in buying remake rights of South Indian films. His current project is the Hindi remake of 'Pokkiri'. This one stars Salman Khan and Ayesha Takia in the lead roles. In all likelihood, he'll produce the film that his wife stars in.
