    Why the compromise?

Shriram (known in Tamil as Shrikanth) put an end to all the controversies regarding his marriage by remarrying Vandana at a grand function that was held in the city of Chennai a few days ago.

Many prominent film personalities were present on the occasion.

When asked why the actor decided to resolve the issue with his lover-turned-wife, Shrikanth/Shriram had a very interesting reply. "Vandana and I decided to resolve all our troubles and live together. We have withdrawn all the cases that we had filed in the courts. I love her immensely but I was very angry because her family members didn't tell me anything about all the cases that were filed against them.

"I have now realized that the root-cause of all these problems was her elder brother and that he isn't living with the family now. Vandana, I and my parents now live together under one roof. I don't want to be known as the man who destroyed the life of a young woman," he says.

But fact remains that the actor doesn't have any new film.
