It is almost official now- plans are on to partially remake 'Shivaji' in Hindi.
Rajinikanth had always been more than keen to release his films in Hindi too. The actor also has a decent fan-following in northern parts of the country. So, irrespective of how good or bad the collections are, the producers of his films always dub and release them in Hindi.
Shankar too is very keen on making his mark on Bollywood. All the other films of his that were dubbed and released in Hindi had flopped miserably. Now that he has plans to make a film or two in Hindi with Rs 500 Crores, it is very essential for him to come up with a decent hit.
The director intends to modify certain song sequences in the film for the Hindi version and they now want Shriya's callsheets for the shooting. Unfortunately, she is a bit too busy right now. The unit is waiting for her to find time now.
