It should be said that the releases for this Deepavali is not very earthy shaking. That's mainly because there is no Rajini or Kamal film being released for this Deepavali.
As of date, the films in the Deepavali race include Surya's'Vel.' Vijay's'Azhagiya Thamizh Mahan, ''Dhanush's' Polladhavan' andJeevan's' Machakaran.''Kannamoochi Enadaa' produced by Radhika's Radaan with UTV has joined this race at the last minute.
The Tamil folks would surely be disappointed that Vikram's'Bhima,' Ajith's'Billa' and Kamal's 'Dasavataram' will not be released for Deepavali.
Apart from the 5 films mentioned above,'Agra' featuring newcomers and Pavan's'Pazhaniappa Kalloori' could be released for Deepavali. So apart from about 7 releases, one should not expect more this Deepavali.
The distributors are trusting mainly on the films of Vijay, Ajith, Dhanush and Jeevan.
