Tejabhai and family - Prithviraj's latest flop movie Review

Dipu Karunakaran Director Tejabhai and families, in which Prithviraj plays the hero, is a medley of some of those old slapstick comedies with childish storylines rehashed as a dilettante. Highlighting the problems of this film is like the development of a grocery list. A script dull, boring sequences, performances and insipid often discordant music adds to the load.

The scenario looks amazingly stupid. Tejabhai (Prithviraj) is a dreaded underworld Don based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He runs a criminal empire with fancy cars and even helicopters to travel, smart guys in suits look like men hit and Don is also armed with ready-to-use dialogs that are delivered in style, quite often. (Example: "Never ... never see you again ...")

One day Teja falls madly in love with a beautiful girl Vedika (Akhila). To impress her, he acts like he is a man full of virtues and voila, there it is ready to dance to his tunes. Things get serious when the father of the girl Damodarji (Thalaivasal Vijay) insists that her daughter's beau should hail from a family known and should have no police case against him!

Damodarji, by the way, always ask permission to fraud swami named Vashyavachassu Rajaguru (Suraj Venjarammoodu) before making any decision. Teja's dad appears in front of the girl as a nice boy Roshan Varma and heads of Thiruvananthapuram for 'find' parents for himself.

Now, almost the entire band of actors of Malayalam cinema (Jagathy Sreekumar, Jagadeesh, Salim Kumar, Kochu preman, Indrani, Kulappully Leela, Bindu Panicker, Manju Pillai, and so on) begin their buffoonery as they appear as close to Teja. Damodarji sends her daughter Teja's house and lives there, to see if his allegations are true, before giving the green light to the alliance! Now how silly is that?

If you are still interested in the procedure, look for yourself in the theaters that Dipu Karunakaran unleashed relentless journey absurd. If you are not the kind that can laugh listening to a two-way dialogues Suraj, Shakkeela the old "sex queen plays a comic avatar in a scene and Raghu Bheeman pee inside the room, it is best to stay away this mishap.

Visual Shamdat very well but the music Deepak Dev is not really very good. The song Oru madhurakkinavin ... from 1984 Kanaamarayathu film was remixed and picturized a pathetic way for the film.

Prithviraj, who has been through a very rough patch of late, seems to have erred in his choice of script here. He tried to be funny at times and difficult to do for the rest of the shadow, but you must accept the fact that it is too poorly written to make it nothing spectacular.

Akhila, previously seen in Karyasthan, looks cute but has nothing to do. The large group of actors repeat what they did in most other films.

With the kind of backdrop for a don that masquerades as normal boy next door, we could imagine that the history of Tejabhai & Family may have been inspired by the Munnabhai series, all is for the film. After looking at it, we really want it would have been better if the makers did find some inspiration in a sensitive film. No luck here, this is horrible!

Verdict: Below Average Story and direction
