    Cinema Company - Movie Review

    Cinema Company

    Movie Rating:

The first half drags endlessly, making us wonder what the director is trying to drive at. The plot picks up in the second half, but seems very predictable as you know how exactly the film will end!

Visuals by Jibu Jacob is good. The "Thick Rap" that is being played while the end titles start rolling is extremely irritating.

    Story

Cinema Company revolves around four people Panicker (Sanjeev), Paulachan (Basil), Fazal (Badri) and Paru (Sruthi) who meet at an International Film Festival and become good friends. Each one is blessed with a unique ability and so the four friends decide to make a movie. While Faiasal is a very good writer, Panikar is extremely interested in becoming a film director. Parvathy loves music and Polachan is keen on becoming an actor. The foursome call themselves 'Cinema Company'.

Faisal loves a girl named Roshni, whose father Varghese (Lalu Alex) decides to produce a film with the four friends in mind. Some incidents tear their friendship apart. What happens next? Will the four friends be able to resolve their differences and finish making a film, as they had always wanted? Watch Cinema Company to know.

    Performances
Among the debutantes, Basil seems most promising. Most of the actors were good in parts, but was not consistent in their performance. Lalu Alex and Kottayam Nazir did their part well as usual. Baburaj is funny as always and his comedy timing is perfect.

    Verdict
Watch Cinema Company only if you have nothing better to do!

    Director: Mamas
    Music: Alphons Joseph
Cast: Basil, Sanjeev, Sruthi and Badri
