The star cast also includes Fahadh Faasil and Asif Ali.
Produced by M S Girish Lal under the banner of Gowri Meenakshi Movies, Red Wine has screenplay and dialogues by Mammen K Rajan.
The cinematographer is Pradeep Nair and the music director is Biji Bal. The shooting of the film will be completed at Wayanad and Kozhikode."

The film Beautiful sure proved lucky for Meghana Raj. The actress has been flooded with offers in Malayalam ever since, and now, we hear that Mollywood superstar Mohanlal himself has asked her to be a part of Red Wine, where he is playing a major role.
"This will be my first film with Lalettan (Mohanlal), and I'm more than excited. It was Lalettan who asked me to be a part of Red Wine. He said he liked my performance in Beautiful, and that was the biggest complement I ever got," says Meghana.
Red Wine is a suspense thriller by debutante director Salam.
Meghana, however, doesn't want to speak more about her character in the film. "I play a smart girl and will have a lot of combination scenes with Lalettan," is all she is willing to say at the moment.
This will be Meghana's first film with Fahadh Faasil and Asif Ali as well, both of whom are part of Red Wine. The shoot for the film, which will have three more heroines, will start soon.
Meanwhile, Meghana has her hands full. She is awaiting the release of Poppins, Madirasi and Maad Dad. The actress is also part of T K Rajeev Kumar's Up and Down, a one-of-a-kind film, where most of the action unfolds inside a lift.
