What is wrong with malayalam music? Why is it slow?
Why cant it be more upbeat and modern like the other 3 big players in india (Hindi, Telugu and Tamil). A few slow songs is good and would fit the mood of the movie, but the entire album for the movie being slow is ridiculous.
I think the main reason is they dont allow new people to enter the movie and music industry. The people in charge probably only let their family members or people who pay alot of money in, hence the possibility of having people that are inexperienced or have no taste in their industry. Why must they be so selfish.
Theres really only one way to show our support and thats by people power at the cinemas and CD/DVD shops. Too bad we dont live in India
. I wish i could contact them any other way.
The aftermath of this is obviosuly being felt. Lots of great actors and directors disappearing from malayalam. Jassie gift did about 10 songs in malayalam, that guy has some great talent. Now if you look at his career he spends most his time in Telugu and some of his time in Tamil.
The future of Malayalam Music and Movie seems grim with all the good people running off to other languages. Keep it fresh and upbeat
