now rappa1!every parents ain't same!n parents have da ryt 2 say somethin about our career options.yea u ryt we have our own views n dreams but if u wanna reach ur goal,u have 2 rly on ur parents am i not ryt?for example,take me,i wanted 2 be a model,i luv modelling and fashion designing but my parents won't allow me. dey r ok with fashion desighning but dey won't let me go 2 modelling,n i was behaving very badly after dat,i was so grumpy n nasty den my mummy called me and told me "u r mature enough ,u can decide wat u wanna do or wat u don't wanna do,its ur life,its ur proffesion n itz ur dream.

den i realize something,dey want us to be perfect not just"good".i now decide modelling is not a good proffession 4 me cuz ofda celebrities n all.n may be dey r worried abt me,cuz all da models r "misusing"der proffession ,d'u know wat i mean?

so ask ur parents abt ur future plan!dey r da ones 2 help us not our friends not our career teacher or anythin,our parents .pinne ellam nammude willingness ne depend cheythirikkum.

my parents have different option for my future.. but to be fair enough i am doing both .. caz i like to be both or i am good in both of it.. i even hadn't even think about what my parents told me about their opinion ca i liked that opinion too.. even mine also.. so i wanted both of them.. my parents also agreed with mine anghane randum edukan theerumanichu

ACHU you are right our parents know about more than anyothers.. but some are different they don't tell anything to their parents

I only agree with 50% of ur points Achud, parents donno everything abt me, but my best friend knows...and a dicission of my future must be decided by me not by anyone else! And dont worry rappai's parents are the opposite...so u can ofcourse say that all parents are not the same!

And jisoa what are u talking abt mate...cause I am confused as u are telling u are going to do both jobs..focus on ONE aim rather than many..

I guess this is happening all over India not only in Kerala.Parents should keep in mind to teach their kids good values and help them choose their careers and not force the kids into something the parents like or missed in their life.Parents force their personality on their kids which is so wrong.Just becos kids have the same genes as their parents it does not mean the kids should be mirror reflections of parents.Kids should have their own personality and identity.

thas a very good statement jaya!!!!! but i also think, adding on to what u say, kids should show respect to parents, and know what they are doing for the kids is better fir the kids!!!!

no don.i absolutely disagree with u now, its realy up2 u,if u wanna do more dan 1 prof.u can 2,3 ot ...as long as u r strong enought 2 do it,in another words u hav 2 be confidents.dats da main point.it doesn't matter wat's ur ambition is.doesn't matter howmany .....it onlu matterx if u can do it.or how can u reach da goal,

hey rappai....as a student his job is to do well in wat he is studyin..maybe he doesnt like that subject...i didnt like math....but i didnt gave up....the problem was i hated math so much....but now i am doin well in math...as a student and as a son my job is to study doesnt matter wat my likes and dislikes are...Hey the child that gets a 60% in science is bcuz his parents told him to take that subject( in his mind...he is realli hating that subject)...if a child can get 80% in other classes..he can defenitley get a 75-80% in science...
